Voice Lessons

I love the uniqueness of every human voice.  You are the only one in the world with your exact instrument, and I would love to help you discover, improve, and fine-tune your abilities as a singer.  Whatever your level of experience, I would be honored to help you grow in your musical goals.

I especially love working with children, tweens, and teens.  Healthy vocal production is of paramount importance to me, especially during those developmental years.  I enjoy customizing my instruction to fit each individual student and strive to set him or her up for life-long singing success.

We enjoy a myriad of musical genres in my studio!  I start most singers with art songs, folk songs, and musical theater.  We then dive into classical literature in foreign languages when the students are ready.  I also love to include faith-based literature, especially songs about Jesus, so that my students can sing or perform in church whenever they are called upon to share their talents and testimonies.

In my home-based studio, I currently offer private and semi-private (usually 2 singers) lessons.  My rates are as follows:

$30 for a 30 minute lesson

$45 for a 45 minute lesson

It’s important to find a good fit between teacher and student, so I offer a free 30-minute trial lesson to all prospective students.

“Michelle creates a safe, welcoming environment where my daughter feels seen and loved. My daughter looks forward to attending each week and enjoys that Michelle incorporates the children’s ideas into their activities. Michelle consistently balances meaningful learning with a lot of fun.”

Children's Singing Class

I am excited to offer a Children’s Singing Class for students in 1st-7th grade!  This group currently meets on Monday afternoons from 4-4:50 pm.  I use lots of games to help make learning fun and singing simple.  I love to incorporate solfege (do, re, mi, fa, sol… and so on!) to help with intonation, pitch retention, and “inner” hearing.  And we always move a lot!  Choreography is a must in this group and is always a part of several songs at the recital.

This class coincides with the public school schedule.  If you would like more information or already know you would like to enroll your child for the Fall of 2026, please go to the Contact page and fill out the form there.  I would love to have your singer join this up and coming group!

Michelle is so talented and knowledgeable! She is amazing at her craft and a huge encouragement for our daughter. We are constantly noticing her progress. She has truly been a blessing and we are so thankful we found her.
